REMINDER: submit your best & worst reads of 2024!
Don't wait until the deadline! Get them in early so I have something to live for!
Howdy folks. This is a friendly reminder to submit your best and worst reads of 2024! Get your picks in by Christmas Eve as a gift to me — I’ll pour over your reviews while waiting for Santa to come down the chimney.
As always, I’m looking to hear about what made your best book of the year really shine. Did it have relatable dialogue and fully-developed characters? Did it have an unpredictable twist that shocked you to your core? Is it truly a ~luminous debut~ or what? Be specific!
And more importantly, I want to know what really ticked you off about the books you enjoyed least. Was there a particularly insufferable character? Did a third-act miscommunication trope tank an otherwise middling romance? Did a weak author underdeliver on a potentially great premise? Tell the class!
While I’m impatiently waiting for your responses, please feel free to send me a Christmas parcel. I would love to receive a funky book of your choosing, or these incredible Madonna Inn Goblets, or a gift card to the pricey-but-delicious Rucola, if you’re in need of inspiration.
And if that’s not enough inspiration for you, feel free to go the free route of sending me your favorite recommendations for restaurants, off the beaten path activities, and gorgeous bookstores in LONDON! I have plans to hop across the pond since I was last there in 2015(!) and would love your esteemed guidance on how to spend my time. Get at me with the goods!
